jay skyler guitar lessson gift certificate

"[5 STARS] I bought a gift certificate from Jay for my brother. It was an incredibly smooth process. Jay responded promptly to all questions and made payment quick and easy.

Peter ‎ - From Google Places (aka Google Maps)

If you gave a guitar as a gift to someone for a birthday or the holidays, or just know someone who really wants to play better, you might want to consider purchasing them some guitar lessons.

They are not hopeless! Guitar is very counter-intuitive, especially in the beginning, and a great deal of information on the internet is flat out wrong.

Being good at guitar is fun, struggling is not!

They can play better, have a great time doing it, and you'll hear a huge improvement in just four lessons.  Guitar and Piano are the two hardest instruments to learn, Guitar has the much steeper initial learning curve. It takes about a month to get the basic technique down so its instinctive, and they can advance from there.

Incorrect technique learned early on will eventually block their progress and will have to be unlearned and be replaced with the correct tequnique. In other words, go back to the beginning. This is about as much fun as hitting the giant slide in Chutes and Ladders was back when you were five.

Now in Full Color!

Printed certificates for guitar lessons come professionally color laser printed on white cardstock. They come with the 3D "Skylercaster" artwork pictured above. They are slightly less than half the size of a letter size document, and will fit in most large sized greeting cards.

Last Minute? No Problem!

I've been been one of San Francisco's most popular Guitar teachers for years, I'm used to getting last minute requests. I can e-mail you a PDF  of a Gift Certificate usually that same night. And I always have 4 and 8 lesson certificates ready to go.  Since I don't answer the phone while teaching and don't have a computer at my studio, simply send me a text saying "last minute gift certificate"  and I'll call you back ASAP.

To order, or for more information call me at (415)845-5471 or email me.

My lessons are perfect for anyone into rock, blues, metal, or singer-songwriter style music, whether on acoustic or electric. If you are buying someone a guitar for their birthday or the holidays, I am happy to help you pick one out, and can often get you a discount. If you are interested in purchasing one, I am happy to meet you in person, show you my studio if you wish, and explain my teaching method to you. Or we can chat on the phone or by e-mail. If it is more convenient, I can alternatively e-mail a PDF file to print out as well.

I can accept most all types of credit card payments through paypal (contact me and I will send you an invoice to your e-mail for maximum security, and so I cover the transaction fees), and I do accept payment in cash or money order. I can also take a personal check if no other option is feasable.
